Mini Movie Makers Club – Data Retention & Privacy Policy (Website Version)

At Mini Movie Makers Club, we take children’s privacy and data protection seriously.

1. Purpose of Data Collection

During the course, we may collect:

  • Photos and videos of children participating in activities and filming.

  • Basic contact information of parents/guardians for communication and course registration.

This data is collected solely for educational purposes, to create the short films, communicate with parents, and optionally for promotion (with consent).

2. Data Storage and Deletion

  • All raw footage and editing materials (“rushes”) are permanently deleted within 7 days of delivering the final film to parents.

  • The final film is delivered to parents via a secure private download link.

  • Once delivered, parents/guardians are responsible for any further sharing, copying, or distribution. The club is not responsible for how the film is shared by parents.

3. Optional Promotional / Portfolio Use

  • With explicit parental consent, the organizer may retain short, selected clips or images for promotional purposes (e.g., Instagram, website) or for the club portfolio.

  • Children’s faces will be blurred where appropriate, and no child will be identified by name.

  • The organizer has full discretion over which clips are used and how.

  • All other footage not used for promotional/portfolio purposes will be deleted as described above.

4. Commercial Nature of the Club

  • Mini Movie Makers Club is a paid educational workshop, and all data collected is directly related to course activities.

  • Personal data is not shared with third parties outside the purposes described here.

5. Parental Rights & Responsibilities

  • Parents/guardians provide consent for participation and optional promotional use.

  • Parents are responsible for managing any sharing of the final film after delivery.

  • Parents may contact the organizer with questions about privacy practices.
